Global Siddha Medical College and Hospital, established on 05-02-2023 and located in Marthandam, Tamil Nadu, is a reputed institution managed by the Immanuel Arasar International Institute of Science & Charitable Trust. Affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, the college provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in allied health sciences. The undergraduate courses include B.Sc. degrees in Optometry, Radiography and Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Cardiac Technology, Physician Assistant, and more, while postgraduate programs feature M.Sc. degrees in Radiography and Imaging Technology and Optometry. With a strong focus on blending theoretical learning and practical training, the institution aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills essential for excelling in the modern healthcare sector.

CLINICAL LABORATORY

X-RAY'S

LIBRARY

Library is the treasure house open for academicians and students. The library was started with an initial stock of 4000 Books in 2009. Now has more than 50,000 volumes of Books on a variety of subjects and atmost care is taken for developing our library.
Most of the Library functions such as issue, return, reservations and searching books have been automated. The uniqueness of our library lies on expansive study space blended with state-of-the-art facility. The Digital Library service provides access to computers with internet facility.
A separate dedicated leased line has been installed for high-speed Internet connectivity. The library has high density of shelving for printed collections. The remarkable features of media center are language lab, video conferencing facilities etc., and our central library is fully air-conditioned

HOSTEL

The hostels for boys and girls are functioning within the school campus with the objective of fostering fellowship among the hostellers and promoting personality traits related to the teaching profession. The mess provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
Games and recreational activities to promote physical development, daily evening devotion to inculcate spiritual values and personal guidance are provided to the hostellers. The overall functioning of the hostels is a co-operative endeavor of the inmates under the guidance of the Warden.

TRANSPORT

For the transportation of the day-scholar students and staff, the college has over 30 buses plying through every nook and corner of Kanyakumari district, Trivandrum city.
This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

ACTIVITIES

The College has a very active Arts and Sports Cell. Our students have brought us laurels in many Inter-Collegiate/University meets and Cultural fests. Our Table Tennis and Fencing teams were University champions and our students have won individual Prizes for Bharathanatyam, Elocution and Light Music. They were also University winners in Weight Lifting.

CLUBS

Arts Club is functioning in the college to bring out the artistic talented among the students. Students are identified in the area of Vocal Music, Instrumental Music,Mimicry, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Drama, Folk Song, Short Film, Acting etc., and offered training to improve their skills in fine arts. Students are encouraged to participate in the competitions held in various colleges. Number of musical instruments are made available to the students who want to have practice out of college hours on all working days.
